clutch service limits

Anyone know the service limit for clutch plates on a 1251/5A motor? I can't find it in the service manual.

There are no specifications listed for Sachs clutch plates that I know of.  I look at the plates and if the organic material is holding on well and the material is not burnt down to the grooves in the plate, I call them good.  I have also used a soft wire wheel on glazed organic plates to bring them back to life.  If the metal plates are pitted, I replace them.
