Runaway Sprite

I am working on a 1970 American Eagle 125 ( Sprite 125 MX) with a Zundapp 125 motor. Bike starts first kick. After the bike is warm the motor starts to rev like the throttle is open even though it is closed. Could it need a new crank seal by the magneto? Any thoughts from the group? Thanks

I think your guess is correct in my opinion.  Hopefully the mag side is as easy to change on a Zundapp motor as it is a Sachs or KTM.
