Ray Ryan - VMX

Dear Poggers,

As reported on my site and a number of other sites in the MX community, Ray Ryan, Editor of VMX magazine, who had been quietly battling cancer, passed away last night of an apparent heart attack.

Ray was a great guy and cornerstone of the vintage movement.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

That is very sad news indeed. Ray was a great guy and his enthusiasm for vintage bikes has been a force in the sport's popularity.  He would take the time to chat and made people feel they were old mates.  I'm sure he will be there waving us on when the flag drops on our last moto too.  Our thoughts go out to Barbara and everyone close to Ray.
