How much for a downpipe? I may be interested for a 72.(3?)

Hey Clay,

How much for the an air box and pardon my ignorance, but is the crank assy. in the 6A the same as a 5A?  (The threads on the flywheel side of mine are stripped and ready to break off from removing the flywheel without the sachs wheel puller).  I'm starting work on my 90% complete 71 (V3442).

Pete;
All "A" cranks are the same, "B" cranks are much different and are also used in the "D" engines.

Doug,

Thanks to answering Peter's question (much better that I could have answered it). I've had so much responce to the parts availability; I'm trying to complete my 1971 steel tanker as quickly as possible so I'll better know what leftovers will be available. Many, many times I've got rid of parts I needed shortly afterwards. This time I want to make sure, especially with the hard-to-find- steel tanker stuff!

Peter,

I have several airboxes for the steeltankers; I'll take a closer look at them as soon as I can. I haven't decided which one's going on my bike, but should know shortly. Please email me at my email address listed above.

Thanks,
Clay

Rain Man

Clay, I sure could use an air box and a fuel tank, my bike has a coleman fuel can for a fuel tankl now, quite a conversation piece, especially with the Maine fire wardens.[8D]
