I've came across a box of piston rings and need some help in identifying them. Probably Sachs (that's why I'm asking here). Here are the P/Ns...

615-101-005
615-101-006
615-101-007
615-101-008

615-102-105
615-102-106
615-102-007

615-103-005
615-103-006
615-103-007
615-103-008

615-104-005
615-104-006
615-104-007

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Hello Mark, Yes they're all Sachs numbers.

0615-101-005 -- bot 54.0 ____for aluminum cylinders
0615-101-006 -- bot 54.5
0615-101-007 -- bot 55.0
0615-101-008 -- bot 55.5

0615-102-105 -- top 48.0 ____ Alum. cyl. (newer thinner 1.9mm ring profile)
0615-102-106 -- top 48.5
0615-102-007 -- top 49.0

0615-103-005 -- top 54.0 ____ alum. cyl.
0615-103-006 -- top 54.5
0615-103-007 -- top 55.0
0615-103-008 -- top 55.5

I'm not sure right now about those last three but a
615-104-003 is a bottom ring for a 49.5 mm piston, and for a cast iron cylinder.
If it goes in progression like all the other numbers, that
puts them around 50.5, 51, & 51.5 ,that's new to me?

Thanks Bob. I knew the answer could be found here. These rings came out of a Monark inventory and I'm just trying to figure out what they are. Probably not worth much.
