Can any one tell me what my 125 6Day is worth? The bike is in pretty good shape and will run if you push long enough.

What year and pictures are good, usually running and complete are worth more.

If your bike is what I consider a "restorable core," that is complete or mostly complete, running or not, it most likely only has a value of a few hundred dollars. The completness and quality of the parts and workmanship on a full restoration will bring what a collector is willing to pay based on their projected use, i.e;, racing, show, or playbike. Perhaps $1,500 to $3,000; who knows, maybe more. The core value would be the projected value less the cost of the restoration plus what I call hearts desire value. I paid $220 for my 'piner and $350 for my 400. I have $1,200-$1,500 in in restoration costs in both of them and neither are "100 pointers."  They are both in outstanding running condition, very "original" and good for riding and racing. I would hate to "run the piss" out of them racing as then I would be faced with continued repairs and replacements. Vintage Iron does "100 pointer" restorations but charges $4-$6,000 to do a bike properly.
I recently found a very complete and running (it ran about 3 years ago) '71 or '72 ISDT that I consider an excellent restorable "core" for a price of $350. Values on the "right coast" may run a little higher as it seems there is a larger group of vintage enthusiasts out there. Mostly out here, people just think I'm nuts.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Chris for the info. I think we'll keep the bike and continue to at least maintain its condition. I really am proud of this bike and I Salute the Penton owners for the preservation of these machines.
