71/72 sales lit.

I have two sales brochures.One billed as a 1971 the other 1972.Inside they both show what appear to be a 1972 line up.The differance is the front cover and a page showing isdt pictures.One 1971 isle of man the other 47th chec rep.My guestion  why the 1971 brochure is showing 1972 bikes.Did Penton have two seperate brochures for 1972?I bought the 1971 brochure expecting to see steel tank models shown.Any ideals?

I'm not sure what month in 1971 the new 72 CMF bikes hit the street, but I do know that in September of 1971 at the 125cc Tri-State Championship in Amarillo TX, Penton Central Racing Team showed up with about a dozen of them. Fastest Bikes there, too bad they didn't have the fastest Rider!!!! They took 2nd, 3rd, 5th.......12th. I think 2 DNF because of crashes. So in 1971 they were advertising the new CMF bikes with the Fiberglass tanks.
