Where is the brownie post????? It was GREAT to get to visit with you and play around with the ignition on that foreign bike (which shall remain nameless) last weekend in Texas.

Teddy,
It was great working with you elbow to elbow on the Brand X bike.  I thought it was fun to see you and Chicago Jerry show up and jump right in on the task at hand.  Teddy it is people like you that show up, Race and look around to help others that make Motorcycle people the greatest.  Thanks for making my Birthday Weekend special.  We will do it again.

i saw "the great one" pushing his kid's still un-named brand-x  bike later that day and it was still sounding pretty bad. i guess our assistance was not quite enough:(. but i will say that mr benolkin can push a misfiring brand x almost as fast as i can ride a well running one..:)  teddy, it was good sharing the "start the day off right" duties with you. if i was a betting man i would wager that we may do that together again. from my part, it was quite an honor. and it would be again.  thanks to all for a great weekend of racing and comraderie. and ron carbaugh.it was good to finally meet you.

Jerry,
The feeling is mutual.  I will say that the Brand X was always tagged by a Friend many years ago that when you bought one they should have given you a pair of tennnis shoes at no charge.  It was fun and what would a good race day be without helping one another.

It was a wonderful honor for me also when Don asked me to say a prayer over the loudspeaker before the racing started. For those who don't know, Chicago Jerry sang the national anthem before the start of the races each day and did a fantastic job of it.

Teddy,

Thanks for all your help trying to get the foreign bike running for my son. It will be on ebay as soon as I get the motivation to restore spark. He loved the Penton and wants to switch. We have our eye on one that is race ready.

Sorry to miss out Sunday. Had to get them back to school.

Tom-I am sorry you never got the part you needed to fix your 125. I was prepared to thrash on it with you. Jerry, I was glad to meet you.
Teddy nice to see you again-and I really wish I could have started the day off with you-I was pretty ill at the time-and dehydrated later Sunday. Ron-I missed you again. Look for me #13L Maico-and as soon as I can scheme it an MC5 250.
Teddy, thanks for your prayers, I was especially touched Sunday when my uncle, twin of my late father came to the track with my cousins, Mark and Casey. I just wish I could have ridden better.
