"There I was" time again

My youngest son left for college this last August, so my wife wanted to gut his room and set up her Grandmas old bedroom set. Now mind you this was the furniture we used when we were first married. I opened one of the dresser drawers only to find a stash of my old enduro patches from the mid 70's. Oh boy, all the sudden middle of the pack finishes were top 5 finishes and DNF's were.. were top 5 finishes also. Oh, time makes the memories all the better.

Tell you what though, back then I rode a Honda MT-250 (major pooch) If I would have had the Penton I got today, I'd been one heck of alot better rider. I could have been a contender.
