PVL question

I believe my flywheel on my PVL ingition slipped but nut is still tight.  Anyone else had this happen?

   Have you actually checked the timing to see if it is slipping or is this just speculation?

   The tapers for all of the Euro engines are turned at PVL, and I've not had anybody mention a problem with them.

   If you do find that it is slipping, make sure that the crank is "smooth" and there is no galling on either the crank or the rotor bore. Once you have that checked, use some lapping compound on the tapers, and do some light grinding to that the tapers match up perfectly.
