Hello POG'ers

I've got a NOS '77 GS6 seat. Never been used, although the cover is shredded up some, and will need replacing.

Not forsale.

Would like to trade for a MC5 seat in nice/somewhat equal condition.
Either fiberglass or aluminum.

Thanks very much,
Bob

Bawb -- Curious, what's the difference between the '77 GS6 and MC5 seats that you mention? I have one of each (both westcoast, KTM-branded) and only difference I could see was that the MC5 brackets to frame at rear were slots, while the GS6 had a closed hole on the left, slot on the right, which I presume was to help keep the seat on if bolt loosened some but to aid in not needing to remove the whole bolt behind the pipe on the left side.

The 77 GS6 seat is longer and narrower and the seat pan has a noticeable downward protruding area just behind where the frame backbone meets the horizontal frame tubes. Also the GS6 does NOT have provisions for attaching the rear fender to it like the MC5 does. It is a 1 year 77 GS6 only design. Mike

Yeah - what he said.
Mac, these seats don't come close to fitting anything other than a GS6.
Thanks for the swap Mike, talk to you soon.

Bob,
Did you get the MC5 seat pics I sent you? If it is suitable, or you would like pics of one of the others, let me know. I also need your address for shipping. Mike
