Hey, all stumbled upon this one.  I assume it is a 78 based on frame color but it has organge tank and white side plates.  Maybe somebody slapped on a new tank but who knows?  Check the CEV/ZKW light, the full-on GS pipe, the center stand. And the funky speedo/mount.  JEI

Since that bike is in the UK, the combinations may be different than here in the US. I have a 78 GS6 with the earlier style side panels but a white tank, like what is shown in the KTM brochure, but that one has a 77 GS6 style tank. I think there were 2 variations on the side panels used, and the corresponding side panel decals, depending when the bike was built from what I have seen. Mike

Back in the day we'd have no problem crating this up and stuffing it in a PanAm whale going to JFK. I like the horn install under the fuel tank.
