Its hard to tell who the fella on the right is. All I see is 2 red stripes on the helmet, the bike and the hands.  Unless he was one of my riding buddies,  I dunno... help us out, anybody [?]

I think that looks more like Tom on the right, Jeff was a bit stockier. Notice that one bike has fork bellows and the other does not.

I agree with Paul, Tom on the right as the rear shock is bent.  I have seen this a lot on Tom's pictures.  I think he got his money's worth from rear shocks.;)

My guess was also, that it's some combination of Tom, Jeff, and Jack.
Why - not sure, mostly the helmets I suppose.

What does the design and color of those helmets represent ?

Are they the Meadowlarks club helmets ?

Or sometimes competitors/riders from a particular shop/dealer all wear a designated colored helmet.

Thanks POG

i'm not sure of who they are, but i don't think that its a meadowlark thing. they are pretty exclusively green and yellow. at least as long as i've been hanging around there.   chi jer

My take on the picture is that Jack and Tom have finished the days ride and have just washed their bikes in the creek behind them.  They must need to have their lights working when they check in their machines as Jack appears to be working on his tail light.  You only need to have your lights working in ISDT scored events and the only two that I can think of would be the Berkshire or the Cord.

Just my take, let's hear yours.

All, Hey did we ever come up with the "who and where on this? Cool photo! Washing a bike in the creek never would play where I was raised in the low country of S.C.

Hey Thomas,
You know where I used to play... out on the "dike", or mud flats. That lowcountry pluff mud would reek havoc on anything metal. Something about the salt water content.:( So it would be safe to say that a creek washing/crossing was usually followed by a trip to the car wash pressure washer.[^]
