I am going to spectate [8D] the Le Touquet Enduropale 2007 this Sunday to root for the descendants of our loved ones (KTM).  For those of you who are not familiar with this race...it is Le Touquet, France's 3 hour version of the Paris to Dakar race.

It is a spectacular race that started in 1975.  It has grown to be over 1000 bikes racing in one heat for 3 hours on the French beaches. [:0] It takes the French 2 months to build the course.  Based upon the speed of road building here in the UK, it would take the English 2 years to build the same course...ooops, did I just say that?:D

Now that I am living in the S.E. UK, it's only a short journey over the river and through the woods...OK, under the channel and along the coast.

Here are a few interesting websites with information on the race and pictures from last year.  Plenty of orange seen in the pictures!
