terry gates was riding his 125 very fast. fridays CC was a great course. saturday was a mudfest. sunday was perfect. the party was as usual a blowout good time! bobby lucas was there. marc hodge bought a 250 from me that i delivered to him there and ron carbaugh stopped by too.   a good time was had by all! diamond don's event just keeps getting bigger and better each year. don's going to bring me his 78 penton 250 motor that he rode in the baja to casey so i can go through it for him. maybe i can talk him into trying his hand at an occasional CC with it.       chi jer

I still can't believe I missed it!!!!! I am going back to Nebraska this week (AGAIN) but am looking forward to the ISDT Qualifier Warm-ups in Combs. If you are late in registering, don't worry about it, but get it in as quickly as possible. I will be making up the minute rows this week. I hope we have a lot of Pentons coming!!!!! I will be riding my Hare Scrambler in honor of the "POG year of the Hare Scrambler"!!! My John Penton autograph on the gas tank is wearing thin, I need to clear coat it next time.

Great bragging rights!!!!! Got a second out of four in my first outing as an expert in Florida, but that was due to pure grit, the mud stopped a lot of riders!!!! Oh well, it is just a blessing to be able to throw my leg over a bike and have fun with so many wonderful people. It is pure joy to have such a wonderful group of people to associate with as the POG!!!!
