Chris,

If Kip doesn't mind, could you post a picture of the SDR? This thread has caught my interest and I would like to hear more and maybe have it followed to the end when Kip buys the bike.

On the memory lane thing, our club.. Pine Tree Trail Riders in Maine.. has a two day trail ride each year that has had the honor of Don Cutler making the ride. I missed the last time he rode, but I am told that he was really fast. New England had more than our share of great enduro riders.

Rode with Don at last year's ISDT Reunion Ride.  He was on a 200EXC and I was on a 400EXC.  Don is as smooth as ever, hardly ever puts a foot down (goes back to his younger days as a championship trials rider), and I was riding at the upper end of my ability keeping his back fender in sight.  He's still "got it", even though he's pushing 70!

Can anyone identify the Sachs engine in the picture on the web site?
It has a late sunburst head but the cases are shaped like a Zundapp.
