79' GS 250 parts -WANTED-

Ive recently purchesed a 1979 GS 250, in need of some serious restoration. Most of the bikes there, except for the airbox & the seat, which im having trouble locating. Anyone know where il'd get either from , weather it be in new or used/scrap condition ? (ive seen the seperate parts for a 78' seat for sale e.g. base, foam & cover, but im not sure if this will fit ?)

Ive looked, he doesn't supply air boxes, only rubbers, also, im not sure weather the seat base listed on there would be compatable ?

I have never seen any 79-81 new seat bases or foam yet from any source, hownever there a couple of places on eBay that sell replacement covers. I just purchased a newly recovered 79-81 seat on eBay and have one that badly needs to be recovered, which I would sell. I can email you some pics on Wednesday, but would not have the time to ship it until after next weekend, IE(Mid-Ohio swap meet/show). Mike

Seat base and brackets in perfect condition, seat foam good, but a little firm from age, cover coming apart at the seams. This would make a good seat with a new cover. Pics sent. I will keep an eye out for a good airbox at Mid-Ohio. Thanks, Mike
