Just got a phone call from the Prez who told me he heard (on Dave Despain's show) that Bud Ekins had passed away.  I googled it and can't find any confirmation in print yet, but if it happened today it won't be on Cyclenews, etc til morning.
If true, we've lost another true motorcycle legend and ISDT pioneer.  I'm sure Mr. Penton can fill us in on plenty more details of Bud's Six Days exploits.  Please keep Bud's brother, Dave (also an ISDT vet) and family in your prayers.

I did get confirmation that Bud Ekins has passed away.  While doing a google search for more information, I was totally amazed at how many movies that Bud had either been in or was involved in the stunt work.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bud_Ekins

We lost a Great One.
