I should know this but here it goes.  Who makes a nice pipe for a "76" 400 GS?  Thanks in advance  CIAO

Kip,
Circle F made the snake style pipe to fit my brothers 77 GS6 250, my 78 MC5 250 and my 1980 MC 250, but only Andy at ACE had made pipes for previous models with the exception of the Steel Tankers to my knowledge. You might give him a call, since he made 1975 style 250 pipes. With the 76, (Cross Country), would it take a head pipe shape with the offset like the mint 400, or a standard bend like the 250? Mike

Mike  I would think it would be an offset like the 74 400 but not 100% sure.  Will have to check a Parts Manual!

Thanks

Kip,
I sent you some pics of a 1976 400 Cross Country that a fellow was trying to sell on the POG site a few years ago that might help. Let me know if you don't get them in case I don't have your current email address. Mike
