Ok, here goes a restoration from the site of our friends across the pond.  I can't be perfectly sure but I'm guessing it is a 125 done in red/maroon. Anyway, I think the marriage of design and performance in these bikes carries a timeless appeal.  I have given you a rough translation of some of the comments, mostly focusing on the originality of the color and headlight shell ("lighthouse").  Hope you enjoy these.  Best, John

After long and painful gestation is reborn Penton 1970 former U.S. 3rd series, now in version CHIC .....
is open to the entertaining and educational hunting mistakes and ommissioni ...
but there are also chit in the original version type strictly replicated

MAGNIFICA REALLY!

But the Americans have seen it?

Congratulations, not everyone is embarking on a company like yours, we really want, but so much passion.
The bike was really malridotta and restoration was certainly challenging in all respects, not
the last loss. I note that the motion is to come "brothers Parma" like mine.

Why that color? E 'color
Penton Berkshire (the model 100 cc) and Penton imported from Italy Farioli. I assume that you wanted
Penton redo the Italian. Your choice is a legitimate, but I think that the way forward in the restoration
is that of restoration as it was, so if the bike is from the U.S. would have made the green. I do not understand
even cheeks chrome tank, originally painted gray with red or white with
green, Penton cheeks with chrome was only one official Doug Wilford. The Italian had not written
six 125-days on the tank and the adhesive KTM was blue and white:

The original fenders were polished aluminum, and then you'll need to polish replicas bought from you
brother of Parma, I fear that the rear is a cross, and then short.
The lagging cev back I think black and plastic, the Italian Penton had so but
metal. The flagship model is a front cev centra not just anything, we set up the Farioli Aprilia,
while the U.S. set up the model zkw piccolino or CEV large (which is flat behind):

Zkw small:

Cev large:

Conclusion: if you change promoted the lighthouse front (even a 105 cev there would be male).

I thank everyone for the compliments, I am just flattered, considering also that of the profession do
butcher !!!!!. Papito aspettavo Your welcome speech, all comments just and precise, I, in
sebatoio, and color I wanted to recreate what I had as a child, and was so sebatoio, the written
I have a free iterpretazione, like the wings, I am putting in another yard, 2 Model 1968
with cast iron cylinder, with this I will be more rigorous in the restoration (also because it is more complete).

In sebatoio, and color I wanted to recreate what I had as a child,

Felice, six justification for choosing the color if the bike was when you were a boy, too, if I had
had the good fortune to have a Penton in his youth, the Italian would have rebuilt.
The only thing I like is the lighthouse earlier, the flagship of the American model was a shell with 130 cev
flat at the rear, the lighthouse is that you have mounted models for road and reached the 80s, as you can
see the photo of a lighthouse like yours, the shell is very different and this has to do with a little regularity of
1970:

The lighthouse just to the Italian model is branded aprilia, was quite common at the time and sometimes on ebay
understood, otherwise, as I said, you can put the classic cev 105, which in the'70s was much in vogue
also as an accessory after-market, as well as standard on many models. I were you try a little zkw,
Penton in the race mounted that the brothers will sell a Parma, is a beacon which costs a lot, but
a Penton worth it.
Congratulations and best wishes for the new company with Penton iron.
