Hi ,
I have what I think is a seized piston on an engine of mine.  Using my caveman mechanic skills , I hit it with a rubber mallet and broke about a 1 x1 piece of the bottom fin off ![:0] My question is , will this hurt the cylinders performance/ is it still usable?  [B)]

Thanks ,

Matty,If you have the broken off piece a talented welder/machinist can make it look almost good as new.If you need a place to send it to let me know.Later,
