Gentlemen - searched the topics, but didn't find answer to my problem. Real Simple - I'm out of clutch adjustment at the lever, and my bike was crawling forward (big time) at Allen's.

Do I have some adjustment capability behind the screw cover on the side case and if yes, how does this work? Also, I know I'm a wee-high on my ATF level in the case - can this effect clutch performance?

Thanks

Bob....I can send you directions for the Sach clutch adjustment. What email address should I use?

Thank you to Steve Minor for the "Clutch Adjustment 101" straight from the manual.  I - of course - overadjusted and experienced some slippage on the first run.  Back into the garage  - realized it really was important to "back it off 1/3 turn" when ya think you've got it, and now I'm ready to pull a holeshot.  BTW - so far, my neighbors really are quite forgiving as I putt-putt down to the school yard for a run thru the gears and then putt-putt back....

Having said that, I look forward to pulling off this left side cover for the first time just to see how this all works.  I'm sure the visual will do wonders in helping this "engineer" understand just what the hell I adjusted. And what "2-4 mm between clutch lever and resistance arrow" really means. [8)]

Again...thanks, Steve.
