HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 1970 INTERNATIONAL SIX DAY TRIALS HELD IN EL ESCORIAL, SPAIN. Vase "A" Team.

The Pentons arrived just in the nick of time due to customs delays.

The Penton team from left to right: Jack Penton, Manager John Penton, Doug Wilford, Tom Penton and Jeff Penton, make last minute preparations before the start.

The Penton Team leads the United States contingent in the parade before the start of the Six Days.

The last test of the Six Days was the special test on the road race course.

At the end of the Six days all the Penton Vase "A" Team finished with 2 gold and 2 bronze medals, and a 5th overall.

Thanks for posting the pictures.

 Looks like a later CMF machine mixed in with the Steel Tankers in the first picture.

 In the parade picture I think we know who is in the first row, how about row two and further back?

In the second row Bill Uhl is on the right with his father Herb beside him.
