To all of you who have served, are serving, and will serve.........Thank you.  Not only has Ambr begun her service in the Navy, now my oldest daughter, and the mother of two, is joining the Army.  I tell you, it places a whole new meaning to pride in your country (and children).

yes thanks to all who have served or will serve.. I personally was never called on to serve that way (too young) but my Father was in the Navy, a Pearl harbor suvivor. more than once the ship he served on suffered significant damage or sank. My Uncle Orville who was a Marine served in the Pacific. He was diagosed with what they use to call shell shocked, He lived his whole life under constant medical care, Never did recover and my older brother who did two terms in Nam... A Seabee.. It changed Him too...I am thankful to all those who have worked and died to secure our way of life.  "Greater Love have no Man .... than he lay down his life...."

My son and his wife, as well as my daughter, are all United States Marines. This day really hits home, so to speak.
