I need to get "new" rims for a 72 Berkshire.  I thought I would upgrade to the type of rims on the 74 models.  What kind of rims were on these bikes?  I seem to remember that they were shoulderless Akronts.

I am real sure they were Sun rims with the HIPOINT label.  I may be all wet but I think that is right.

I have the manifold and carb if you are still wanting.  E-mail; if so.

According to lit. I have from 1974 , the rims were shoulderless Akronts . Hi-Point Products did offer shoulderless rims manufactured by Sun.

My '74 ISDT still has stickers on the rims that say Akront.

Looks like I lose.  Did I say Sun?  I must have meant Akront.  Oh well I think the bike I raced had Sun but the shop might have built the wheels.  Or like Doug Wilford says, "My rememberer might not be working as well".
