Bummer, was just over there, north of Columbus.  Could have checked it out (dug it out):D

Are these fairly light? I'm looking at a 12' Featherlite enclosed with a ramp and side door that grosses 2990 (no brakes).

David,
They are light and well built trailers.  I have a Chariot now that is well built and weighs in at 750 pounds.

That's a nice trailer. What I like most is you can put some chairs on top and watch the racing from up high.
Most lightweight trailers, like my 12 footer, you can't get on the roof. Had a guy price out fabricating a ladder and platform out of aluminum, so we could sit up there, and it was going to cost more than the trailer did!!

Looking back at the ad, that trailer is well worth $2500.00. Not sure if a Ranger or S-10 could pull it up the hills where I'm located though.
David, hooking up electric brakes isn't that expensive or difficult. Don't let that stop you from purchasing a trailer.

Thanks I wanted to stay lighter and I think that 12' will work, we're presently using a 12x 6'4" landscape trailer and there's plenty of space. I just want to add the out of site, out of mind security aspect.

Part of the "Hi point" charm is the tie in to Penton history.

No kidding about the history. Been thinking about selling my 6X12 cargo style trailer. It is nice and it has worked good for me but I am wondering if I really need a smaller trailer.. Jon this is your falt.... thanks so much.....
