Ohio Motorcyclist for Children is a non-profit charity dedicated to taking care of our country's most valuable resource, our children.

As motorcyclists, we can change children's lives, one ride at a time. By joining us and supporting our activities, we know you will meet some great people.

Roll on Columbus (ROC) kicks off Saturday, May 22 at the Arena District in Columbus Ohio, and of course, all proceeds go to Nationwide Children's Hospital. But not only is the money raised from the event destined for the kids, but so is part of the event as well.

Keeping with the family entertainment theme of ROC, kids will have their own special area with activities designed for them at the Kid's Zone. There they'll find a number of things to see and do, highlighted by the opportunity to help paint and decorate an actual road racing motorcycle, owned by local racer Nathan Docken!

The Kid's Zone is only one of many great activities on tap for ROC, joining bike shows, mini-road racing, stunt shows, trials exhibitions, performances by three great rock bands plus the Ohio State University Alumni Band (and cheerleaders), dozens of vendors, seminars and more. Best of all, kids under 12 are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Admission is $15, and doors open at noon. For more information, go to //www.RollOnColumbus.com.

See you there, rain or shine.

Just a reminder that this event takes place tomorrow, Saturday May 22.  I know there are other events going on in the area, but if you still are looking for a way to spend some time and also help a worthy cause please drop on by. I have not yet been to this location, but event Chairman Ed Youngblood said the vintage bike show is indoors, I do believe that Penton will be represented in the show if you wish to drop by.

Take a few minutes if you wish and read about the folks who are behind this charity event and their mission.
