Great pics!  Gotta love those bellbottoms!  What broke me from riding after school in bellbottoms was the afternoon the bellbottom cuff got sucked into the countershaft, wound up tight enough to kill the engine which caused me to dump the bike...with the bellbottom side down.  Kind of hard to extricate yourself from under the bike when your lower leg is fused to it!  Took about 15 minutes.  End result was one shredded pair of blue jeans and a vow never to ride again without my lineman's boots!  Live and learn!

Ditto Jeff,

did the same thing on my 71 Bultaco 200 Sherpa S,

only problem the brake was on the same side as the countershaft sprocket and it pinned my leg down and i couldn't get to the brake pedal,
spool front wheel [no brakes - LOL - ], thankfully i was able to stall it with the compression release, that one was a white knuckler,
fond memories - LOL -
