Hey Ron,The pipe makes me think maybe e.c. birt stage 3-[?]maybe.I'm not even close to a tyran expert,but wish it had a pic of carb,etc.The pipe on mine sweeps up like that that i think,the one on Mark's page doesn't.Ron-if you talk to E.C. one of these days will you ask him what stage 3 or 5 or whatever consists of?Seeing that one makes me want to get busy on mine-someday[].I'm going that way if you want me to get it 4 U....Talk Soon,

Yes that is an EC Birt pipe. I have 3 of these bikes I am restoring.

Ric,
  I do not want the bike, but it looks like a nice bike.  Last time I visited with EC he was living in Tennessee and  it was about a go kart carburetor.
