I was invited to attend a lunch today that was sponsered by our local heating and cooling supply house. This lunch also had a trade show with various vendors demonstrating products and answering questions. I was standing with my back to one table while looking at a display and I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned around and looked at the speaker, a familiar looking fella, and thought to myself- I know that guy. I couldn't place him and suddenly it hit me! Thats Ted Guthrie! He was there as a vendor! We spent too much time talking about motorcycles and not much about work. What a pleasure to talk with Ted. He is a perfect gentleman and definitly a class act. Thanks Ted, for making my day! We as fellow Poggers are so lucky to have this guy in our group.  Hank

Hank,

Great post, Ted sure is a class act and we are very lucky to have him on board, along with his better half Reb.

Ted and Reb have captured a mountain of footage that is absolutely priceless to not only us Penton enthusiasts of today, but also to future historians of all things Penton. The DVDs that they have produced for the POG take a lot of work to do and are highly treasured.

Thanks again Hank for the great post, and THANK YOU Ted and Reb for for all that you have done, and continue to do, for the Penton Owners Group and the entire vintage motorcycling community.
