I will be coating a tank with POR-15 for Chicago jerry as soon as I get the POR-15 ordered and receivied. If the tank has no previous coating applied, I could do your at the same time. Give me a call for specifics at 618-553-1346 or email me for my address: [email protected] Mike

Dennis I got your voice mail and sent you an email.
If anyone is interested in having tanks coated, I can coat fiberglass tanks that have not been previously coated, and prefer tanks that are either in original gel coat or prior to repainting, as nicely painted tanks require much more care and time to coat, due to the possibility of seepage while being rinsed with lacquer thinner thoroughly before coating possibily causing drips onto the finish and reduing the number of tanks that can be done at the same time due to time constraints of the POR-15 setting up.
I generally do up to 3 tanks at a time, and the pricing is as follows:
$60 for one tank, $55 for the next, and $50 for the 3rd tank, if all done at the same time.
My cost for a quart of POR-15 including shipping is $52.70 plus 1 gallon of Lacquer thinner and 1 quart of MEK runs about $30, so I prefer to do 3 at a time. This is not a money making deal as you can see, but I want to do my part to keep these bikes out there and I take pride in my work, so contact me if you are interested. Obviously, I can't guarantee this is a permanant solution, but all indications so far are very good, and far better than any of the other alternatives I have seen.
