Guys,

I would like to send a big thank you out to Paul Danik.
While I was in Pennsylvania for work, Paul went out of way to organise to meet up at his place to check out his fine Pentons!
Now, i was excited to catch up with Paul, but then he rang and told me he had organised to meet great John Penton!
Wow what a day... a day i won't forget.
After meeting John and a tour of the KTM facilities, we dropped in on Doug Wilford.
Then to top things off We had a late afternoon meal at a local pub with Jack Penton!
I like to take the opportunity than John, Doug and Jack for taking time out for me. But a big hearty thank you to Paul for organising a day that went like clockwork and driving all that way from Mars to Amherst.
Righto....now to start saving for a trip next year and try and make mid-ohio.

Paul, That was a nice gesture to spend the day with Adrian.   I noticed that he travelled all the way from Australia to the U.S.A.  I am sure this was an exciting trip he will never forget.   Joe

That's the kind of friendship you get from Penton owners you don't get anywhere else.

Reminds me of the time when Gary Sawchuk, a Canadian from Stoney Creek, Ontario, won the OVBSAOC raffle bike back in 1989.  (650cc BSA Thunderbolt)  In a "Hands Across The Border" gesture we took him out to a steak dinner, to another place for ice cream dessert, then got his new acquisition loaded for the long drive home.  In crossing the bridge on the causeway from Ohio to Pennsylvania on Pymatuning Lake, Gary experienced a full lunar eclipse.  A trip and night he'll never forget, and we're still friends after all these years.  I would add that all my best friendships have come about thru my lifelong association with motorcycles, including my wife of 46 years.
