My thoughts and prayers are out for the recent tornado victims.
The news reports 122 dead and 1500 still unaccountable. Living on the east coast of NC I've been thru my share of hurricanes, but have never seen this much damage.

Joplin, Missouri is ripped and devastated.  Have several friends living there and all were okay.  One was working at the Hospital when it was hit.  It is like the center of town was bombed from the pictures they sent me.  Total destruction and most have no electricity or drinking water.

Tornado's are not something we have to deal with here in the NW but still it sickins me when I hear the news, and I can do so little but pray as if that is nothing, only I know it is important, so I Pray.

For those of you who have not lived through a tornado or hurricane it is so unreal to not have a place to live or anyway to get money out of the bank if there is a ban left in the area.  My Prayers go out to the victims and extended Family.  Thanks steve for making the post.

As a volunteer for the Red Cross I have firsthand experience with the after effects both physical, mental and spiritual. I have never been thru this myself but the the people I have worked with that have can really put things in perspective for you. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims. I am unable to be on the scene to help with this one, but I wish I could be. Hank
