i was supposed to leave today to help finish up the cc course. had an issue come up[ here at home so not making it at all.   the course last year was kinda short, challenging and had a lot of rocks in the trail. but i personally liked it. i hate to miss it and i would be there if i could.     chi jer

I'am back home from the Road America CC race. I had a great time as I do at all the AHRMA CC races. The coarse was about 2.5 miles with alittle of everything in it. I wasn't there last year, so I can't compare. The trail had a few rocks but not bad. Dave L. said that they added a little trail from last year. I think I had the only Penton in the CC race. Low turn out this year, I think its just a long travel up to Road America with the high gas prices. Well, its off to Ohio next weekend. Hope to see you guys there. Later, Gene

Gene,
  We got there late Sat. night and slept in the bed of the pickup.
The turnout was very light for the sunday PV-MX.  
But the races were great and the people were too.

Road America is HUGE..  Big fancy place.
But the MX is kinda hidden out back and doesnt get much attention.

The MX track, was very much just a grass track special test ran for 5 laps.

Lap times were short.   only 6 motos, so we got done early.
