Any of you Poggers have a 1972-1974 Penton CMF frame setup to accommodate a 1974-1977 CR 125 Elsinore motor? Trying to locate one for a friend.

Thanks

Marc

Donny,

i remember this bike from back in 2006 when Larry Perkins had it, he sold it before i could get my hands on it,
Larry had the bike with him at the 06 ISDTRR - Park Hills, Mo.
on Sat. after every one was done riding Larry started it and Uncle Ron Carbaugh rode it around the pits, what a Great sight !!!!

jump ahead 5 years and the bike surfaced, Larry got it back and i didn't hesitate to get it this time !!

Marc builds a great bike and i would love to get one of his Penda's as well !!

regards,

Thanks for the nice remarks guys. Wish I would have kept the Pentaha and the Mettco replica I sold you Donny way back when. I have some new ideas for building a 4 stroke Penda.

Marc,
I too wish I would have kept that Mettco replica. It was the most perfect 125 Penton I have ever owned. It was clean, smooth and FAST. I'm not sure if I ever told you, but we ran a little drag race between it and my then NEW 2002 KTM SX 125 and guess which was faster over about an 1/8 of a mile. You got it, your red and white 125 Penton beat the KTM by about 6 bike lengths, both times. Once with me on the KTM and then with me on the Penton. AND, this is a very BIG AND..... it shifted perfect. Keep up the great work!
