I am restoring a 1978 ktm and some clown has cut one of the tabs that mount the airbox off and also tabs to align the seat. I was wondering if anyone had a old damaged frame and could cut the airbox tab and forward seat mount brackets off? I can email pics to get an idea of what I mean. Additionally any photos of these area would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I have a 78 KTM frame that the swingarm bolt threads are stripped out of. Email me the area pics of exactly what you need with your address. Mike [email protected]

If your frame is a 78 MC-5 KTM frame with the serial # starting 855-, it should be like this one with the plastic airbox mounting tabs visible, and the front mount for where the seat slides onto the frame juntion. Also pictured is a later model seat base, but with a similar front mounting plate that engages the frame to securely wedge the front seat bracket to the frame. (pics uploaded from ebay). Let me know if this is what you have and which you need. Mike
