correct tank decals 1974

Greetings all: My 1974 125 Penton has the small motocross tank and I was wondering which decals are correct. Is it the black and white horizontal stripe that says 'Penton' or the standard white 'PENTON 125cc six day' decal like the bigger tank has? Thanks for your help any Merry Christmas to all.

If memory serves me correct the Six Days bikes we got to sell in 74 were both.  I think early on they had the small white Six Days stickers and later they had the big stripes. That was a long time ago but I think it is right.

This  brings up a good point.  With Pentons on questions like this the answer is often "depends". Penton motorcycles from the beginning were a work in progress with changes in equipment coming at anytime.  Part of this was in the search for "better" and part of it was supply.  None the less, any given year might have small or big headlight, steel or alloy rim, as examples.
