Hello Penton Friends,
An update regarding last weekends Dealer show in Indianapolis. We brought our beloved Steel Tanker V2080 six day to the show to support Jack Penton and the AMA museum's fund raising tour. We arrived on Thursday and helped set up the display including Don Emde's 1971 Daytona 200 winning Yamaha 350,Scot Harden's Paris to Dakar Rally KTM 660R and Malcolm Smith's 1971 Husqvarna 400 cross from the movie "On Any Sunday" (frame #mh1221). While setting up, many people stopped by the display with kind comments and questions about Penton motorcycles. Throughout the show it was not uncommon for visitors to walk right up to our Penton and share fond memories of past experiences with Pentons. The highlight of our visit was meeting Jack and John Penton and Malcolm Smith, something that would have never happened without involvement in the Penton Owners Group. If Jack ever posts that a display bike is needed again, we strongly encourage you to volunteer.

A huge thanks go out to Mike and Karen. You both were so nice and went way out of your way to bring your (Karen's) bike to Indy. It was such a treat to spend time with you over the Indy weekend and get to know you. The bike was a big hit and started a lot of good conversations during the dealer show.

Thanks again,

Jack
