High Priced Penton

Why is the Hare Scrambler up to $2900 on ebay right now? I think I'll get some yellow paint and paint my Piner and sell it!!!

Man!! We should all bid on it and help the owner out guys. Maybe he could afford a book about Pentons and learn. Darn....I miss my Penton and soon I will start looking for another one. Ride safe, guys!!!    Ed T.

Teddy, Teddy, Teddy.  Number one it is a Penton and number two it is on ebay, where all things are possible.  There are some other factors.  It is supposed to be a real nice bike and it is a 73 Harescrambler.  The Harescrambler is a better selling piece than a Piner.  73 is a first year model and they had the yellow tank only that one year.  It also comes with alot of collectible reading material. Maybe that helps a bit.  I think in the future you will see alot more price jump on nice Pentons.
