Who was officiating the MX at VMD?     Just wanted to voice my opionion that they could have done a better job. Twice I had seen spectators come to the aid of downed riders before the corner workers even noticed. Maybe I should have said corner worker. There was only one worker, that I saw, working the section behind the quanza(?) hut when a CZ rider bit it pretty good into a couple of hay bales. A couple of people hopped the fence to come to the riders aid after a few tense moments as NO ONE was there to assist. The only time a worker came up there was to put the ribbon back up. And the kid who wiped out before the first turn was struggling to get his leg out from beneath his bike while a another racer (who was not riding at the time) ran to him and picked his bike off him before officials noticed.  Sadly dissappointed in that.
