Probably not the most exciting subject on Monday morning.

Can anyone tell me which of these Hi-Point boots is the older of the two? Note the different shin plate & stitching designs. Yearly, mid, late 70's, 80's?

The first pair are the oldest.

Here is an interesting site that has a lot of info on Hi Point boots.

I worked with Jerry Palmer who maintains the boot site.  I have personally seen his collection of boots and jackets, nothing on this planet like it![:0]

Top boots are older, early '70s, second pair are mid-late '70s.

Thanks Gary,  I never did own a pair of Hi point boots, there were too much money for me.  But several years ago I found a used set that I plan on fixing up.  I don't think I would race with them because I don't think they provide enough protection.  But they are cool and it is fun to remember. I wanted a set so bad.  I felt luch I had a set of Jofama leathers. nothing to date fit as nice as those leathers did back then. More protection too, go figure.:D
