175 fuel line

Can anyone tell me what is the proper fuel line size for 175 jackpiner or do I need to safety wire a fuel line on?

the stock petcocks took 3/16 fuel line and the carb took 1/4.   what i have done in the past is i bought some vaccum line reduced tees from autozone or advance auto. they are not the most stout in the world but they work. they just dont like a lot of yanking around on the lines as you can break them.  hope that helps..  chi jer
