Ormstown Vintage Festival

The Penton brand performed well at Ormstown this year!!
Mike OReilly brought his Mudlark with him and took 5th place on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday, in the Trials. He came in 1st in the Motocross with his 74 MC 250 and 3rd in the Cross Country on his GS6. Mike also won the top prize of the weekend; the 'Iron Man' award for running all three days races with the best overall finishes. (All on Pentons). Congratulations Mike!
Next year I will be competing against Mike for the Iron Man, since I got suckered in to a promise to run the Cross Country.
For this year, I came in 4th in the Motocross with my 73 Husky and won 1st place, both Saturday and Sunday with my Mudlark, in the Trials.
It was a great weekend overall, other than a couple friends suffering injuries in the motocross. Both will be back next year.
The weather was perfect and the Pentons were too!!

Congratulations Gordon and Mike!

Reports like this really make me miss vintage competition. I've rode a few trials where Mick also rode and then handed out awards. He is an amazing rider and a very humble man.

Gordon you're gonna love the Cross Country, it turned out to be my favorite competition. It's like trials but fast.
