I have TWO rear spool hubs which looks like the one on an early 1968 Penton with the four-bolt pattern sprocket, and four lug cushion hub.   The difference is the tires mounted on the rims.   One is the normal Metzler 3.50-18, the other is a Dunlop Trials Universal 3.50-17 (tire looks almost new with center knob ribs intacts).  Yes, that does read seventeen.   Can anyone share information regarding the 17" four bolt hub/rim set-up?   Thank you,  joe

17" rim, wow thats  different. This be a good question for the steel tank project.  Most of us have trouble ($$$)finding  rims of the apropriated size. Now where do you suppose this 17" rim came from ??  Must be a story here somewhere.
