I just resurfaced the cylinderhead for my 73' penton 125.  I didn't know the history of this head since I barterd for it in the past.  I decided to measure with a depth gauge, from the surface of the head to the bottom of the bowl next to the spark plug hole.  I found that this cylinder was .015-.020 less in depth than on my other cylinderhead for the other 125 motorcycle.  these are both sachs B engines.

My question, with .015-.020 shaved off the cylinderhead, how this will effect the running condition over and above slight increase in compresion ratio???  Let me know.

Back in the day Uncle Donny milled my head .060 as part of his porting process.
