ISDTRR accommodations

POG Members,

I have been researching info on accommodations for the Reunion ride on August 24-25 in Adams, Mass.  The concern is for those families who may bring spouses and children.  The hotels are between 120 and over 210 bucks per night in the area.  However, if you just need a shower facility, book yourself at the "Historic Valley Campgrounds" in North Adams, Mass. on Windsor Lake Road for 25 bucks per night and alcohol is permitted (413/662-3198).  There is an on-site café too.  It is private rather than state park.  It is 8 miles from Adams, Mass.  Technically you could use the facilities and stay in the pits too to sleep and hangout with other riders.

There is also a small lake for swimming on Sunday night, for example after the events have finished.  You can get a camp site next to the water but the price will jump up to 39 dollars per night.
