Help - Need to get bike from Ilinois to Unadilla!

Hello Team POG - the racing season has arrived and I'm hoping I can get a Jackpiner from Illinois to New York, specifically Unadilla. Seems kinda late to make this request, but I've been on the fence due to a recent lower back injury that is just now starting to show signs of feeling better.  The bike is currently with Mr. Gary Ellis.

Just thought I'd get this dialogue started. Would like to race this sled on Friday in the Vintage XC if the stars can line up.

If this is truly not meant to be, then I guess Gary and I will just have to hook up at VMD 2013.

I'll talk to Gary, and if I can get the Jackpiner in the mornming on my way, I can get it to the meeting on saturday for Dan to forward to Unadilla. I am taking my trailer, so it shouldn't be a problem as long as its accessable on the way. Mike

Hey Mike;
    Just want to ask, you don't have this Jackpiner confused with the Jackpiner Special Edition Tim Brown from Atlanta is looking to transport from Detroit? I'm not going to Unadilla.
  Just want to avoid confusion before it's too late. Wish IO was going to the POG meeting but that won't work out either.

Michael (and Dan K) - you're off the hook.  Gary and I are going to make this deal happen at VMD.  Gary knows how screwed up my back is AND he's been married a lot longer and reminded me that I may not have not adequately spelled out MY Unadilla plans to my beautiful (Registered Nurse) wife. In other words, there would be blood (or just consequences).[:I]

Glad to have been able to assist, even though not needed at this point. I will be leaving Illinois in the morning and picking up Tim Browns 97 LE200 Jackpiner tomorrow evening in Warren MI. and will be at the POG meeting Saturday rain or shine, and am hoping that John will sign Tims front numberplate, then plans are to deliver Tims new pride and joy to him in 2 weeks in or near Greensboro GA. If anyone needs transportation along the way.
One or 2 the NEW Acoustic USA bass guitar amps is going to a well known studio musician in Nashville along that trip, and the last 2 I delivered to Forward Air in Plainfield IN. and are now in the capable hands of Dorian, the bass player for Jason Bonham and the Led Zepplin Experience band for their upcoming tour with Heart, which have a new album out this year. WOW! Quite a lot happenin'!! Take some pictures of hi LE Jackpiner and post them if you can. I was hoping to take some pics of it parked next to mine if it worked out. HAve a safe trip with all that high tech stuff!

They are a beauty aren't they! Wish I was thinking and had the time to take my headlight mask to you for JP to sign. I got the tank on my '72 SixDays and Jackpiner signed. I was hoping to get my 250 together and running in time to make the trip and have the collection of all six bikes signed. Now that the Berkshire is running, once I get the 250 motivating by itself, we'll have one of each size displacement Penton motorcycle in running condition, and the '97 LE Jackpiner to top it off. Man I wish I could make this trip! :-(
