I may have what you are looking for in the way of a 80-81 tank? Clarify for me,but I think the 81 tank had the KTM emblem or decal recessed or indented into the side of the tank while the 80 did not? Both white plastic with single petcock. Are you looking for the style of tank that is very similar in appearance to the 77 MC-5 and 78 fibreglass tanks or the other style that is more raised towards the gas cap?

Yes, the emblem was recessed into the tank on the 81 but not on the 80, I believe

Both the 80 and 81 were raised towards the gas cap versus the 79 style

The 82+ single shock tanks will not fit

Is this the syle of tank you are looking for? I got this tank from fellow POG member Mike Winter a number of years ago for a KTM 420 project I was doing and never ended up using it.
