83 KTM engine in 81 frame ?

Hi all, can anyone tell me if a 83 250 engine will bolt into a 81 250 frame? not concerned about the carb pointing to the wrong side, just if the engine will fit the frame OK? I have a 81 250 with a worn out motor and a nice 83 motor with no home.

I dont know about engine mounts, but if the carb is wrong, Andre Horvarth has an adapter that makes the 82 intake fit the 81 frame.
