nice 73 250 HS for sale- SOLD

hi all. here is my latest project that i am just getting done with. for the most part, it is pretty original. the tank is good, so is the airbox. correct 73 pipe. forks taken apart, flushed, new seals and fluid. wipers are ok, not perfect.tubes are nice and straight. before it leaves me it will have a new seat cover too. new falk front fender. decent PP mx rear fender. original side covers. handlebars are straight but the chrome is not perfect. it has a new rear tire, albeit some off brand. front tire is a trellebog.  wheel hubs are good, no cracks. good shape kickstand.  new grips. frame good shape and looks good, rattelcan paint job after good clenaing.  starts first kick.runs very well. true 73 motor with smaller kick start shaft, kicker detent area on the cases is perfect. no cracks-no welds.  i took the motor apart and and put in new seals and new crank bearings. the bearings are high quality one piece instead of the old style original three piece. they are getting too hard to find especially for good quality ones. thats why i went with quality US made one piece bearings. clutch and trans work well.  it has some little odds and ends that i need to finish up. i will put in a new front inner tube as the one in there now won't hold air. also, i will hook up a new kill switch for it. in one of the pix it din't have the top triple clamp pinch bolt. i already fixed that. like i said earlier, new seat cover too. other than that, the rear shocks are original, which is why i left them but they are not good.


 2300$  no title. i think that whoever owned it previously had it titled and had a new serial # stamped in the steering head. looks pretty professional though. i have owned the bike for about three years and just recently decided to start working on it so i have no concerns of its legality. chicago jerry  [8D]
